In 1999 IRC ENGINEERING started its own data center.

The first steps to IRC's Data Center was due to a general request of several of IRC’s customers as many were looking to host their servers externally.

What started with a couple of servers and one telecom unit (KPN Nederland) has now developed into a professional dynamic data center with fibre connections to Belgacom as well as KPN.

Servers hosted at IRC's Data Center are continuously accessible thanks to the multi-telecom configuration. At the same time as the integration of the new telecom providers took place, IRC also set up a second freestanding unit to offer a complete redundant Data Center.

IRC invested a great deal in emergent virtualization, security and backup techniques. IRC's Data Center was transformed into IRC’s Dynamic Data Center. With the new center accessibility as well as availability of the servers are constantly ensured.
